Hi,
I have applied for and received an invite to interview at JHH on a pediatric unit. I figured since there are previous threads for past years I'd start a new one for 2020 hires/start dates! Lets all keep each other informed and updated through the process.

As a new graduate you are interested in every specialty till you find your niche, infact you love all units! LOL when you get in and you don’t like it, you switch from within. Don’t tell anyone I said so? but it’s doable! Get your feet in first. Apply to more open positions.
I will, I recently passed my exit exam so I can finally focus on submitting more applications. Thanks for the advice!
I just received an email about a "remote"/video interview for the "Head & Neck / GI / Plastics / Surgical Oncology" position.
Has anyone done these type of interviews since the pandemic? I am curious on what to expect.
Also, anyone applying for the same position or hear back about it? Thanks!

Hey! I'll be graduating in May too! I interviewed on a Friday and they offered me the job the same day. I go the official offer letter the next week. It all depends on the unit you applied for - which unit?

Hi,
I got my offer less than 1 hour after the interview and the other offers the next business day!

After an agonizing week and a half post interview, I was just notified that I will be receiving an offer of employment on the Ortho/Trauma unit! So begins the apartment hunt! I'll be moving from PA, about 45 minutes west of Philly. If any other new grads want to talk more I would love to meet some new friends!!

I'll be starting on May 4th right on the infectious disease unit, right in the middle of a pandemic. Yayyyy me! LOL. No but seriously. I'm excited but very nervous. Didn't think I was going to make it because I just took my boards 12 days ago. I'll be moving from Florida.

Hey!! CONGRATS! I'll be starting in the ED hopefully in July, but because my NCLEX testing centers haven't been administering exams I am not 100% sure. I'd love to meet you!! I am coming from Cleveland, OH because I graduated from Case, but I am originally from Atlanta!
I am nervous, but so excited. Got my ED acceptance maybe 2-3 weeks ago to start in July! Any new grads moving to the area around July who want to meet up? I want to make some new friends!
