Johns Hopkins Entry into Nursing (MSN) Fall 2021

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to start a thread for the Johns Hopkins Entry into Nursing MSN program for August 2021 applicants. I started my application this week, aiming to get it in well before the November 1st deadline . Anyone else??

Make your plan B. Get excited about it!! Go to the state school, maybe you’ll graduate debt free and go to JHU for a Masters paid for by your employer. Apply to other schools, reapply if you wish, get more experience. Don’t dwell if the decision is not the one you want or the aid just was not enough to make the education feasible. These past few months, I’ve found family and inspiration in my amazing nurse coworkers. There are two mentors I look up to for guidance and direction on tough (and good) days. One of them is a JHU graduate and the other is a community college graduate. These nurses are badass. You want to them to be your patients’ nurses in chaotic shifts. They are AMAZING. Just because you don’t go to JHU doesn’t mean you aren’t going to be an amazing nurse. Please don’t give up!! You are needed!

Not sure if there were decisions at 730pm, I was just assuming that because of last night. I still havent heard anything!
