• LVN Integrated Health Care - Mobile Clinic

    Are you an LVN/LPN? Are you kind, considerate, and compassionate? Are you able to work independently as well as contribute to the overall success of the Mobile Clinic Team? If so, we want to meet you!

    What you will do:

    • Prepare and maintain examination/treatment room
    • Obtain vitals and blood glucose reading when appropriate
    • Process physician orders for medication, labs, and EKG's
    • Document assessments and care in compliance with standards of care within Tri County policy
    • Educate patients and their families in health-related issues
    • Educate patients and their families to possible side effects of prescribed medications
    • Document patient communication and clinical treatment accurately and appropriately
    • Obtain IHC consent for treatment form annually
    • Participate in monthly audits of stock medication
    • Process medical referrals to outside providers when appropriate
    • Answer patients' questions as they arise and within 24 hours of patient calling
    • Provide excellent customer service
    • Responsible for maintaining all CEU necessary to main licensure and attend monthly staff
    • Mobile Clinic assignment; traveling Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to the rural clinics

    The Ideal Candidate Will:

    • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
    • Attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment
    • Comfortable working under minimal supervision, longer or irregular hours
    • Reliable transportation, travel by mobile clinic (RV)

    What you'll need:

    • Graduate of an accredited LVN Program
    • Current LVN/LPN license for the State of Texas
    • One-year clinical experience in behavioral health, substance used disorders, and intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred
    • Computer competent, and proficient in computer software.
    • Must have a valid Drivers License and be insurable through Tri-County Behavioral Healthcare.
    • Effective January 1, 2017, all Tri-County Behavioral Healthcare campuses are smoke free.

    Payscale:

    $28.62/hour
