Here's what you'll do:
- Work with an amazing team of Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, RN's, LVN's, and Case Managers
- Provide nursing services to patients in our Child and Youth and Adult Outpatient Clinics
- Obtain vitals, provide IM injections, venipuncture, and perform EKGs
- Educate patients and their families on possible side effects of prescribed medications Obtain medication consents annually or when a new medication is initiated
- Complete Prior Authorizations
- Document assessments and care in compliance with standards of care within Tri County policy
- Document patient communication and clinical treatment accurately and appropriately
- Return phone calls/emails regarding patient questions/concerns within 24 hours
- Provide excellent customer service
- Provide support and consultation to other team members and service providers
- This position works closely with clients and their families, MD's, APN's, case managers, and other nursing staff to provide a team-focused atmosphere.
- Responsible for maintaining all CEU necessary to maintain licensure, and attend monthly staff meetings

The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation
- Computer competent, and proficient in computer software.
What you'll need:
- Bilingual in Spanish required
- Graduate of an accredited LVN Program
- Current LVN/LPN license for the State of Texas
- One-year clinical experience in behavioral health, substance used disorders, and intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred
- Must have a valid Drivers License and be insurable through Tri-County Behavioral Healthcare.
Payscale: $30.34/hour
