Jefferson 2-Year Traditional Prelicensure BSN Admission

Published

Good morning! I’m looking for some advice from nurses who’ve applied to and either been accepted or have not been accepted to this program. I am still completing my science prerequisite classes this semester and over summer but have applied to this program. I have not heard back as of yet, however am wondering if anyone else applied in spring and was told that Jefferson wanted to see their Spring semester grades before making a decision - and if you were or were not accepted after that? In addition, when you found out for sure if you were accepted into the program. I really can’t afford to push back my plan any further than starting in Fall 2019 so I am really looking for some feedback and to hear peoples experience with this! Thanks!!

Hey there, I applied for the Fall FACT-1 program (I hold a previous Bachelors degree), and I also have prerequisites in progress. I was invited to interview for a seat in the class two weeks ago. The interview went very well, but last week I received an email stating they would like me to submit my final Spring grades before they can make an admissions decision. To provide some context, I have three pre-requisites I am finishing up currently: General chem, basic statistics and human nutrition. I have straight A's so far in all of my completed pre-reqs. I understand why they want to wait and see my grades, as most applicants have all of their prereqs done by the time they apply and spaces are limited. I think maybe if you have one or two prereqs left to complete, then they make a decision, but three or more sounds like they wait to see final grades first. Hope this helps!
