Jacksonville University traditional BSN Fall 2017

Published

Hey everyone! I applied to JU's BSN program that starts in the fall of 2017 and wanted to see who else had applied! I'm super nervous and hoping to get in! Good luck you guys!

Have you looked at collegescorecard.ed.gov? This school has very decent graduation and retention rates. It doesn't appear as though the vast majority of students are paying tuition via Federal loans which is another indicator of quality. Also, the student debt load after graduation, around $22,000, seems doable on the wages of a new nurse.

These statistics and more are on the aforementioned site.

All this likely means is that your chances of success at JU seem to be in your favor despite the rather high costs.

Still it is important to explore all possibilities that make financial sense. Many students become RNs at a fraction of the cost by attending community colleges by taking the prerequisites prior to attending a reputable university. This approach could save you a lot of money to say the least.

I have! Any idea when we are supposed to find out about acceptance?

Cinnamon did you get in? Do you like it?
