I am currently looking around for a school so I can work on my ASN to become an RN and I was told about IVY tech in Sellserburg, IN. I went by to talk to a few members of the staff about applying for the nursing program and they seemed very nice and helpful when talking to me about the program which made me very excited about the school as a possibility for me. I have since been looking up NCLEX pass rates for the school and they really concern me because they are very low. Can anyone tell me if it is a good, solid program that will prepare me for a career in nursing or is it just a breeze through school that won't prepare you for the job?

I went to Ivy Tech South Bend. I learned a lot, passed NCLEX the 1st time and found a job right away.....but that was in 2004. It was very affordable too. I'm glad I was chosen for the program, as many that applied were not. Some people apply several years before getting accepted.
