I am in my second year of my ADN program and am planning on going into NICU nursing when I am done. I am wondering what IV drug reference book you guys would suggest? I am looking for one that would be useful both while I am in school and when I get out into the workplace. Thanks in advance.

I use Intravenous Medications: a handbook for nurses and allied health professionals by Gahart and Nazareno; published by Mosby

Its like the only book.
That said if one has a PDA there is a reference by an Austrailian physican in Isilo format, that makes it a little harder to use as some drugs dont have the same Brand names, it also is missing a few US drugs that are commonly used (in my setting anyway). Its kind of dated as well- 1997 i beleive.

I can't really speak about a handbook for school, but every NICU I have worked in uses Neofax as their reference.
