I finally got a job and I start Monday! Thanks to you all for enduring my whining since I graduated in December! I promise I'll stop posting so much now that I have other things to occupy my time! :)
I am being rehired by a 30+ provider multispecialty clinic where I first got my start in healthcare, working as a phlebotomist from 2001-2005. Now that I have my BSN they created a float nurse/nurse scheduling position for me. The orientation is FT, and then the tentative plan is I'll be 8-12 M-F, plus whatever other shifts they need covered. No weekends, nights, or holidays, so I still plan to troll for a casual hospital position. I filled in at the clinic in 2008, and still am good friends with the lab staff, so it's kind of like going home!
Thanks again to everyone for being my support system. If it weren't for allnurses, my fellow nursing students, and my husband, I'd would have gone stir-crazy!

Congratulations!! Im very happy for you! I'm still looking for a job as well. I'm hoping for a doctors office or something. I left the training program at one of the hospitals and it was a bit too fast. I'm hoping that I'll hear from somebody soon.
