Does it help if you have an NP license? My wife hopes to one day live in Fiji, New Zealand or French Polynessia. Personally, I think that we should stick with Hawaii, and then maybe get a boat!

G'day Roland,
Having a NP license in Australia is something relatively new to our country, and I'd suggest you contact the individual state nurses boards for indepth information. I think Gwenith has posted a thread on here somewhere with relevant information about the different boards etc. There ARE NP's in Australia, but as I said, the role is relatively new.
Don't know about NZ or the other places you mentioned, but hope this little bit of info helps get you started in your quest to obtain info.in the region.
Cheers,
Grace

The "sticky" thread at the top of this forum has registration and immigration information for Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and the Philippines. it should be a good place to start.

There is certainly a market for RN's in NZ as per your subject header. As for NP qualifications, it will really depend on where you apply. Try www.overseas-experience.com for some initial info. NP quals may not be suitable in NZ. As for living in Fiji or FP, have you been there and know what it's really like? It's one thing to visit, but another thing to live there. You might not be pleasantly surprised.
