i have heard of this.. but i think i would stick to the tried and true methods saunders , suzanne's plan or kaplan or some of the others ..... nclex isn't something i would use a cram book for.... keep us posted on how you are doing with your studying .. take care

I have that book and it was the only book I used to review for the NCLEX.

I read the chapters (there are 20) and took the chapter review quizzes. I also did the practice test on the CD. I thought it was a good book, well priced and very informative without being OVERLOAD.

Thanks Kizzykatlove and RN in SC !

i got the valuble informations from both of you !

have a nice day !

I used this book too. I liked it because it covers ther things that are most probably going to show up on the test. Not too much detail, very straight forward, and didnt make my head hurt. I also had the saunders book, but in my opinion it covered too much. And the questions are a little tougher than saunders.

But I just took my test yesterday, so we'll see if it worked.

I also used that book on top of Saunders, Lippincott, and Rn 3500 software. I think that the book is good. So many valuable informations in a short and concise format. I would recommend it. I passed with 75 questions.

i have that book but didnt really use it, i used the CD once in a while, but to be honest, while i was taking the nclex, i told myself that i should have just used SAUNDER's because the more reviewer, the more confuse you will be..goodluck!

i'm using exam cram now i take the nclex next week. anyone remember what they scored on the exam cram tests. I know they say that you should get at least a 77% on each of the five tests but I've been a little lower and now I'm starting to panic...

hi , chinup , thanks for your message , wish you good luck pass the exam ! we will wait for your good news !

I've never heard of Exam Cram...who is it buy? Is it like a Saunders book? or does it give quick facts?

Also, the RN 3500 questions of facts....is that the book that gives you a ton of random facts and that is what the whole book is....?? If yes, is that good?

Im going to do Suzanne's plan, I just have to go buy the 4th ed Saunders, but does anyone know the next mail out date?????? I plan on testing end sept-beg of october...or whatever works with her program...i've already done ati & kaplan...It sounds like her plan is just amazing! I hope I meet the requirements

Her plan takes 45 days to complete and I would highly recommend that you get the Saunders book today if that is possible. You must finish her first tip that is a sticky in the NCLEX discussion forum. It is only after you finish that tip that you can private message her and request the rest of the plan. I did not have enough days so I am out of luck which upsets me greatly. Get the book, get through the first tip which can be rather easy if you do well on the chapter quizzes or take quite a long time if you don't. Good luck!!
