I've worked in post-acute rehab for 2 years and I am just sick of the 30+ patient loads! I want to be able to thoroughly assess my patients each shift and know that I am working for a company that wouldn't put their patients at risk by being understaffed. (sorry for the rant)
Anyone work here? Is it hard to get a job there?

For what it's worth, I found out a classmate of mine called the nursing recruiter at Hoag and got a job without applying for one. Not sure how she did it, but if you've got clinical experience (she is a new grad and graduated in May of this year), then that definitely gives you a leg up.

I hate the process of filling out online applications because they don't get to put a face to a name or see what you are capable of! I wonder how she got the phone number of a recruiter?
