I keep seeing the names of different resources being thrown round, but I want to know which resources 1) result in the highest pass rates and 2) have the most bang-for-your buck. I would greatly appreciate a list, if there is one. And if not, can you comment the study program/book you liked best and why so I can compile one?

Kaplan, UWorld, NCLEX Mastery, Hurst, NCBSN, and Saunders. Most bang for your buck depends on how you learn. Some people will work well with Kaplan, others will work well with UWorld, etc.

I agree with Kurlin. It truly is how you learn. I have Hurst, pda, fundamental book and questions are from saunders and Kaplan. but no matter the material this exam is a safety test and you want to find the material to fit your learning style and help you understand safety, prioritization, abc, maslow, etc. thanks to everyone here this site is great to guide you :) this is my first time taking exam

It depends on the individual. Do you need help with prioritization & delegation? Test taking strategies? Content? Practice with test questions?

I didn't use any commercial review as my self review was sufficient. My method won't work for many.

You can over study and confuse yourself with too many questions

My school mandated ati.. I got a 91% chance of passing on the predictor. I wasn't satisfied with that. I got ATT on Jan 21 scheduled exam for Feb 5. I purchased one month subscription of Kaplan qbank and did all!! I also did questions on lww prepu nclex 10,000.

Really depends on the student. I passed with 86/87 questions. 11 SATA. One drag and drop. One exhibit. No med cal. No hotspot.

Dont psych yourself out!!!! Pick a source and stick to it. I personally recommend Kaplan Qbank & PrepU for questions. Saunders for content.

I'd have to say that if you could only use 1 resource I would recommend you go with Kaplan qbanks without a doubt! I did all the questions they had and used the Saunders book for content. A friend also shared their Hurst review videos with me and that really helped me understand certain things I wasn't sure on such as some conditions or positioning etc. I would do about 75-150 questions per day and then after, go through and read every single question, then I'd write down everything I missed (you'll feel like you're developing carpal tunnel, believe me) but it'll help you store the info in your memory. I passed the test w 75 questions and was out of there in about an hour. Had a lot of SATA and priority questions and found that a few were very very similar to ones had I did on the Kaplan qbanks.

I almost exclusively used Kaplan Q bank and trainers. I had the Saunders for content, but felt that nursing school prepared me for content. I needed practice with NCLEX style questions. I kept track of areas that I was consistently missing questions on and then reviewed the content in Saunder's. I passed at 75, so it worked for me (your result may differ).

Thanks for your responses. I ultimately decided to go with Saunders because it was recommended by my school. I guess I was just overwhelmed with all the choices.
