Is the CCRN certification valid in any Canadian territory?

I'm fairly certain that only certifications obtained through the Canadian Nurses' Association (CNA) would be recognized. In Alberta, it's clearly stated in the collective agreement, "In order to be recognized for the purpose of establishing an Employee's Basic Rate of Pay, a Canadian Nurses' Association certification... must be applicable to the position held by the Employee and must be current." (The pay difference is $0.50 an hour.) The employer might "recognize" the CCRN as an indication of nursing skills and knowledge base, but would not be allowed to pay you for it.
