Hello, all pre reqs done except micro. Applied last semester and did not get in. I plan to retake NLN in august, enroll in micro, and apply for spring 2015. Good luck!

Hello! I'm currently taking chemistry than taking A&P 2 summer II than I'll be done with all of my pre reqs. I applied last semester to the RN & got denied. I'm going to re-take the NLN to hopefully get a much better score. Does anyone know if I'm allowed to apply for the RN & LPN program at the same time, I really want RN but if i get denied again I feel like my goal is going to be so much further. I want to at least get my foot in the door by starting a health program.

I have taken the NLN twice and spoke with the dept head and it was her recommendation to try for both the RN and the LPN so yes you can apply to both but it is 100.00 dollars each. I am heeding her advice and doing the same.. I truly hope I can bypass the LPN though.

Does anyone know how often they do the NLN review sessions? I always miss the subjects I need the most!!

Got some disappointing news I am unable to take the NLN again until the day after the dead line for IRSC spring enrollment.. Destiny ? Don't really now what I should do next.. Time will tell I guess.?

When did you take the NLN last?! I'm starting to freak out a little myself.

Hey guys! Just checking back in to see who all is still applying. I still plan on re-taking my NLN within this month & applying to both RN & LPN (just be warned you have to take 2 separate tests). If i don't have the money for both I'm going to go with the LPN exam & apply there since I was already denied 2x into the RN program. I personally think my NLN score for them was too low. I got a 109 while most everyone got 130 or above. What's everyone's update?

Hey Jessika! I have to take the NLN on the day of the deadline =/

I didn't get to study for it last time so I just winged it and only got a 101!

I am praying I can at least hit a 130 this time :nailbiting:

What do you mean you have to take 2 tests to apply for RN and LPN?

I plan on doing the same thing.

I was an alternate for RN and assuming I did not get in considering this is the first day of classes..LOL
