I just noticed this too! How cool is this!?? I drop in this site from time to time, but ussually chat on the other site....or limit myself to the NICU section.....Soooooooo I'm venturing out!!!

I am a NICU nurse...been here for going on 25 years already...still love it (most days). Also going to college for my BSN through Graceland U....soon done...JF I'd push it.

Live and work in Rochester....but grew up near Alex. A country gal at heart! :)

I grew up on a farm about 20 mins from Alex, but went to HS in Long Prairie. Now I live in Rochester, but we still own our family farm, but rent the land out.

My dream is to have a cabin on a lake we love near the Hub supper club...but still waiting for the zoning committee to clear the sale. How lucky you are. Which lake do you have your cabin? There are so many nice ones near Alex.

I love to antique shop in Alex.....one place esp!!! Have you ridden bike on the trail they have out there now?

I'm an antiquer too! Been to a couple of shops in Alex...can't state the names of them though.

We are on Gilcrist...a small lake just south of Glenwood. Great fishing, not big enough to bring alot of outside traffic except fishermen, but big enough for the kids (and us) to enjoy all the watersport we want without the business of Minnewaska. Perfect!

Sorry it's taken so long for me to get back to you...I was off. No I haven't eaten there...but may have riden my bike in that area....on the ride accross MN a few years ago.

I haven't gone fishing for over 5 years...when my mom died...we used to go all the time, just for pan fish.
