Let's see... gotta keep it concise so I don't lose my audience
I am the husband of a wonderful, patient wife and the father of 2 beautiful young children (I still feel like I hit the lottery there).
I've worked as a high school math teacher, engineering technician, and a manufacturing technician. And I love to tutor math, so please let me know if there is a math class getting you down - we'll chat! (before the class starts is always better!)
I've recently moved from Arizona (after 31 years there) to New Mexico, and lemme tell ya! This place is paradise if you don't have to send your children to school here (mine are homeschooled!)
Anyway, I've got a friend at work who is an outstanding
RN and, after talking to him, I finally realised that this line of work is exactly
what I want to do with my life. He's very encouraging and his enthusiasm is infectious. I've always wanted to do this, but before I had children, I didn't have the confidence (always thought I'd make a big mistake and someone would pay with their lives). At any rate, I began my prereqs this semester and hope to be ready for my new life in 4-5 years.
I've run on long enough, but I definitely want to say one more thing...
I'm grateful to the operators of this site for the opportunity to exchange information here. This kind of thing makes a very real impact in the lives of a lot of people and I'm sure it is well worth the effort.
