RRT Branching Out

  1. I am a RRT who is on his way to becoming a RN. I love respiratory therapy I just think becoming a RN will help me increase my skills as a health care professional. There are so many opportunities in the field of nursing that I find very exciting. I have been researching different areas and am strongly leaning towards becoming a CRNA. I know that it is a long road ahead but in four or five years I could say that I wish I had followed this opportunity or I can say I am glad that I did it. Sometimes the hard things in life are the ones most worthwile. Anyway I am in the groove when it comes to school. I've been doing it so long I don't know what life would be like without it.

If there are any RN's or CRNA's out there who have a background as a RT I would love your feedback on your decisions and experiences with nursing.
