There is no other legal way............I suggest that you go ahead and complete your exams and get your Visa Screen Certificate. I expect things to open up again by summer. Do not get yourself into one of those contracts where you are essentially slave labor for three years just because you are in a hurry.

Have you completed any of your exams or paperwork as of yet? Or found an employer?

thanks a lot for that advice.

i already passed the CGFNS test last November and right now im preparing myself for the IELTS exam this coming February 24. what i got is only my CGFNS score because i took no english profeciency exam yet. i already applied for NCLEX RN (California) exam last September but there is still no response as of today.

my cousin who is an RN in New York & her employer is willing to file a petition for me. she already gave me the requirements, i need my CGFNS certificate and my IELTS score report to compete the required documents.

on the other hand, im confuse also because some agencies are asking their clients to pass the requirements even if its not complete yet, then sign a contract for them. now, i would like to ask if that incomplete documents of applicants can now be processed/filed? or is it only the one with the complete documents will be processed?

    i need your opinion. thanks!

Hi! I passed the IELTS & CGFNS exam and currently have my ATT (California). Now, I'm planning to take the exam this coming June in Hongkong, if ever I will pass this exam, is there any expiry date if I'm still not gonna use it? I'm still in the Philippines and doesn't have any US visa. An employer from New Jersey is willing to petition me and asking me to apply NCLEX in New Jersey since my work will be there. My question is if ever I will pass the California NCLEX exam, will it affect my application in the US embassy though my employer is from New Jersey? Can I apply for reciprocity? What could be the possible requirements when applying for reciprocity? Any expiry once a person has SS number but still not using it? Please advise me what to do....thank you very much.

Do you actually have a SSN#? Not sure what your question about that is.
Be aware that California will not issue you a hard copy license, which means an actual licnese number until you have the SSN#. This comes down to the fact that you will not be able to endorse to NJ until you have the number.

Have you applied for the Visa Screen Certificate yet? If not, I would do that as soon as possible.
Once you take and pass the NCLEX exam, there is no expiration date. You never have to retake it. To get an endorsement to another state, you just need to fill out the application for endorsement (not initial licnesure), submit whatever documents that they require, and pay the fees. That is it.

thank you very much for the prompt reply. i don't have a SS# yet.actually a relative of mine hired a lawyer there in NJ to process my papers for green card, i'm not so familiar with the different processes involved, i already submitted the required documents except my CGFNS certificate since i just submitted my IELTS report score so i still have to wait for its release of CGFNS certificate and i have no idea how long will that be. i would like to ask if should i be the one to apply for the Visa Screen Certificate? and not the lawyer?
