I've been a member for a while and I am not sure if I have ever introduced myself. I sort of look around the forms, but don't post much. I have been going back and forth on whether I want to pursue nursing.
I am finishing up my BA degree in history at Arizona State University and have no clue what I was going to do after that. I have thought about nursing on and off for a few years. What has been stopping me from doing so is I have tried to take chemistry in the pass and have always failed it. I know if I tried hard I might actually get it. The other things that have prevented me is seeing that at the school I would want to get my degree with has students waiting 2+ years just to get into the program after applying. While I know it's not good to rush it worries me that I would have nothing to do for a few years. I also have been seeing that new grads in arizona are having trouble getting jobs. I am hopeful that this will change by the time I graduate, but it's hard to know. There's a lot of pluses of why'd I want to be a nurse, but the negatives seem overwhelming to me. Anyone else notices these things like me and still went for it and it worked out of the best?

first of all welcome to the cite!!!
in regards to your situation several individuals that are now my best nurses had the same problem with chemistry and they found it helpful to get a tutor or join a class chemistry workout with other peers, wishing you the very best in all of your future endeavors....aloha~
