Newby looking for Support and Advice

  1. Hi Everyone! I just became part of this site and am hoping to make some friends and get some great advice while on my journey in becoming a CRNA.
Currently, I am working for two internal medicine doctors as a Medical Assistant...I will be enrolled in January 2007 so that I can earn a BSN in nursing. I am at the very beginning and am very excited to begin. If anyone has any advice to share I am completely open and would love to get to know my peers. From my understanding after earning my RN-BSN, I should get into a ICU setting for one year and then start applying for the CRNA degree. Well, I just wanted to give a little background to myself and look forward to comunicating with everyone as I begin transitioning.

    Hoping to gain some insight....tma.

Thanks! The links were helpful, I am really hoping to gain as much insight as possible...Keep me updated on any other advice re: nursing school and becoming a CRNA. I started checking out some CRNA schools and the closest for me is in Chicago, Rush University was the main one I looked at....There arn't any schools in Indiana..Right?

TMA, I'm not sure. That might be a question for the CRNA forums, rather than here in the introductions.

    Good luck.
