  1. I am a RGN, currently working in London, UK and hating it! I trained in South Africa (cape town), and miss the lifestyle.... Hot weather and plenty of space. I did the NCLEX a few years ago, and have a inactive USA licence. I am not sure though if this is something I want to do. Its a bit scary... Is Nursing really better, more fulfilling in the USA, and where would be a good option?... Or is there anyone out there who has nursed in Australia. I believe the lifestyle there is good????

I am a forensic psychiatric nurse (clinical team leader) at Rampton Hospital, England. My parents live for half the year in Florida and I recently visited only to be innundated with offers of work and the suggestion that I consider moving over to FLA. Only trouble is I have no clue how to start finding out what all the regulations are, visas, expected salaries etc. Also Where are there sites devoted to psychiatric nursing.

As far as regulations, you could probably go to the Florida Board of Nursing website to see what the regulations, etc are. as far psychiatric nursing, enter that into a search engine and see what happens.
