  1. Hello everyone ! I am new to this forum. I am a CNA 1 and looking to find out info. I amintersted in so many different aspects of the health care field. I want to further my education as a nurse. What kind of input can anyone give me. I want to go to the next step, which is what a LPN? Or do you just go to RN? Any suggestions would be appreciated !! I am going to take Phlebotomy, does that help at all, pay wise to have that?

I was an LPN...and now I am an RN.
It is very hard to give you the advice unless I know your background.
Some will go straight to the RN Program...some go straight to the LPN Program. In my case, it was so hard to get into the RN Program, so I decided to go one step at a time.
Whatever you think is right for you to do...go ahead.
    Good luck!!!!

Good luck to you. Being a phleb would only help you in positions that require phlebotomy from their CNA's. It certainly couldn't hurt. Welcome to Allnurses!
