Hello everyone, I am a student with no medical experience what-so-ever. Thinking about getting a CNA certificate to start getting my hands into the field. Anyone have any advice on getting CNA certified???
most universities and community colleges have CNA programs that are 6-12 weeks. check with your school. most nursing programs require you be cna certified to get accepted

I don't know what state you live in, and whether or not you have to be certified, but a Dialysis technician position is also good for "getting your feet wet". It helps with your organizational and pt care skills, plus, you get over that fear about sticking someone. For the most part, the pay can sometimes be better than a CNA, if you are a needy ($$) nursing student!
