1. HI I'am an LPN (low paid nurse as my husband calls it) I graduated from an LPN program from a community college in Chattanooga Tennessee in December 2001.

    I started working in an Internal Medicine Clinic but didn't stay long because there wasn't too many "clinical" duties. I then transferred to a General Pediatric Clinic and found my "calling" as my grandmother calls it. Recently I've been pulled to a Pediatric Endocrinology Office to fill in until someone is hired for that particular position. I don't care for it too much.

    My goal is to achieve my RN and do travel nursing. I would love to work in the UK but I need to become an RN first and let my husband go to parttime or take early retirement. (He is older than myself) So wish me luck.

    I'm also looking forward to talking to fellow nurses from allover the place. so let's not waste time in getting started.:wink2:

    I wanted to know how are LPNs utilized in TN? Do the duties differ from hospital to nursing home?
