I am just about the start my clinical rotation in an LPN program at Saint Clair County Community College in Port Huron Michigan.
Yes, I am the only male in a class of 30.
I am both excited and very nervous about starting the clinical portion of the program after a long wait.
After having my mother admitted to a local extended care facility, I found an interest in nursing that I never knew was there.
I previously worked at a Realtor for about 28 years and have built about 50 new homes over the last 20 years. And, yes, now I am going on to the next chapter of my life and plan to become an RN at 51.
Any advice will be most appreciated.
Also, I have been turned down for financial aid and pell grants, but sure could use some assistance financially to help pay the upcoming tuition costs. Please advise.
I am anxious to hear from some of you.
