I'm returning to school spring 2006

  1. My name here is Angels' and I'm returning to classes as a pre-nursing student. I'm in my 50's, wanting so much to do my best, completing the prerequisites, then applying to the nursing program.
This spring my classes are Developmental Psychology, Substance Abuse Awareness, Basic Chemistry, and College Orientation.

I’m usually up night, sleeping a few hours mornings and/or afternoons.
This night I’ve worked on the renewal of my FAFSA.

I’m trying to form a study schedule for my classes.. not having any real idea how and what the studying and homework for classes will require.
Does anyone have ideas to help with this? Would you share those thoughts? :smackingf

Sorry to hear about all the stress that is happening and what you and your son are going through. Stay connected to the professionals in your area. I encourage you to take care of yourself also. Since this is an Introductions forum, I now encourage you to move off from here and get the support in the other forums that you might need from members. I do not wish for you to miss member feedback that you might need. Regarding psychiatric questions, we have a Psychiatric Nursing forum. We will support you, give you info, and provide direction if needed in that forum....but, we will not give medical advice, since we are a nursing board. If any suicidality is present, the appropriate action is to get connected with your nearest health care practitioner or hospital pronto. Again, take care and we will see you in the other forums.

    AllNurses Forum Members and Guests:

I'm praying that all pre-nursing and student nurses reach their goals.

How are you working out your stresses?

I’ve been stressing out over the wait for classes to begin, and what they will require, and my family time. The last of December I restarted my aerobic exercise for the natural high feelings and sense of well being ...and for the body toning that I so much need, hopefully loss of weight (almost a lost cause). I hope to stick with this plan for the semester and go on from there.

Trying to be and stay focused on my long term goals.
    A pre-nursing student,
