I am a new member

  1. Hello to all my fellow nurses. Even though I am now retired after 42 years as a practicing RN, I will always be a nurse! At retirement, I closed the last chapter on my varied career, that of a Nurse Manager for a busy M/S unit and a second area in IV Therapy. I wish I could say that I miss it...but I don't. I do miss the patient contact and the many friends and colleagues, but the stress of management, no way! :chuckle :chuckle I still maintain contact, actually through my daughter, also an RN working at the same facility. She is the one who got me to become a user on this site. I have been reading the articles and find them so interesting. Keep 'em coming!
