Hi there, I'd really appreciate some input :)

  1. hi there!

I'm working a research paper at the moment and i'm hoping to get some input from people who know whats what.

My original plan was to do it on the effects of hospitals on children but no hospital will let me near their patients. so thats a bit of a bummer. N E who, I've decided to go more along the lines of what to/what not to do when dealing with children and their parents. i'm hoping to get some information on what kind of strategies you use when dealing with little ones in a hospital setting. how do they react to certain actions, how parents effect their childrens responses. what do you wish new nurses would know that might not be covered at nursing school? Or any thing u think might be of some help.

    Thanx for your time

I'll be honest with you, I really don't like working with peds that much. I like dealing with adults more, however, sometimes that's just as bad as working with the kiddies.

Is this paper for nursing school? You can also get some info looking under "Child Life Specialist"------under this heading you may find quite a bit for what you need for your topic. Or at least get a focus of which way that you want to handle your assignment.
