Hello from Colorado...

  1. I happened upon this site following a google search (can I say "google" here?) and after many repeat visits, I decided to join. I love reading everyone's posts; there's so much interesting subject material on here I lose track of time!

I've been attending my community college for almost two years now and have racked up many credits trying to decide what I want to be "when I grow up". I've been interested in nursing for many years, but never thought I would be strong enough to handle some of the things that being a nurse entails. Last year I decided to stop messing around and go for it. I've finished all my pre-reqs my school requires and have been accepted into the Fall 2007 RN program there. I can't wait to begin!

    Thanks for reading!

Thank you for that compliment! I like your "purr" signature. I have two cats that are like children to me, and I donate time and cat chow to a local animal shelter helping the homeless cats here. I like to joke that I'm in training for my future as a crazy cat lady! When people take out pictures to show off their children, I bring out pictures of my furry children!

And to everyone else that posted, thank you for the warm welcome.
