Hello everyone! I want to become nurse but need some advice

  1. Hi to all the nurses, you can call me JJ if you like, i'm 18 and i want to become a nurse.Right about now, I am in college studying Pre-Health Science which is a programme which involves chemistry, physics, human social biology, mathematics and english. I finished this programme at the end of May the end of the semester .The reason why i am doing this programme is it plays a very vital role in my chances of getting in to General Nursing which i entered for this January at the same college.
Overall i am very happy with my work so far i have attain good grades but I am a very nervous about the interview which i have to do sometime in June in order to get in to General Nursing. Two of my biggest fears are what kind of questions will they ask me and will i get in that part has been on my mind for past couple of weeks especially now finals exam are here.
I got brochure from the office on what will be taught in nursing it is three year programme and i know it will take lot of dedication and hard work but i willing to learn. I know i would be great nurse.
I am really glad i came across this site because i really need some advice from other nurses who have been in this profession and to all the nurses just want to say thank you for all you do.

Thank you Sun...well one of my questions is what kind of questions will you be asked at an interview for nursing?

You can contact the school and ask, if you know some of the students that have already went through the interview; you can ask them.. Each school will have basic questions and google may be your best friend.. It will give you a broad idea of questions. I however did not have an entrance interview when I was in nursing school..

Either way, be yourself, be confident, professional and honest..
