Hello everyone

  1. Just wanted to drop in and introduce myself. I have been and LPN for the past 16 years. Worked mostly in a small community hospital and have worked some nursing homes. I love my job.... Hope all you new grads will enjoy your new line of work as much as I have. It is hard work sometimes but it is worth it, it is very rewarding. Just remember one thing, this is what my instructor told us on the very first day.... You asked to be where you are, your patients did not.........

Welcome to Allnurses! I moved your post to the OB/GYN forum, where hopefully some L&D nurses can give you some ideas on how their units work their schedule.
