Hello

  1. Rural Nursing sometimes has its challenges and as a educator there appears to be more challenges in teaching rural people.

Internet access is a real difficulty from where I come from and look forward to hearing from others who have same difficulty.
Wishing all a very Happy and safefestive season

HI, I live in a rural area and the distance alone to the college can be frustrating. While the college I attend does offer some online and/or off campus classes, there isn't a lot to choose from. I attend a small college and I'm sure with time they will increase the alternatives to on-campus studies. Until then, it's a juggling act to work and make it to classes on campus. Our area in the past year has been offered DSL through a local company, but the price is still very high. I continue to use Dial up service for my online class, but it proves frustrating at times when you lose connection while in mid -instruction.
