1. Hello! I'm new to this board and would like to introduce myself.

I'm a 23 year old "hopeful" nursing student that enjoys hobbies such as hiking, fishing, hunting, riding my horse Ranger and working on my taxidermy projects. I want to become an LPN with the intentions of furthering my education to work with newborns. I currently live in Shickshinny Valley (Wilkes Barre area) and plan to enroll in the Wilkes Barre Area Vo Tech LPN program. In high school, I attended Columbia-Montour Area Vo Tech School but majored in the Horticulture program. In that program I was the secretary for our FFA chapter during my senior year and have a few degrees which include my Greenhand Degree and Keystone Degree (the highest degree a student may recieve) that was based on my education and my abilities to keep accurate records. But after HS, I worked in a local greenhouse and hated it. I tried floral design as well, but just didn't have the nack for designing. That's about the time that I decided to that I wanted to try taxidermy. My uncle has been licensed in it for years and he took me under his wing and showed my the ropes of it. I do love doing it but lately I have been having a very slow increase of specimens. Tho I have been out of HS for soon to be 5 years, I decided to continue my education in nursing. I have quite a few friends tht are in the nursing field and say that they love their jobs so much and that its a great field to get into.
