I am a 3rd semester student in an entry level master's program, which I will be graduating from when I am 50. It is nice to read that there are other students over the age of 35 out there. I am currently questioning my fit with the direction of my program and where I want to end up. This program emphasizes management, since it is not a NP program. Anyone out there that graduated from an MSN program with this kind of focus that is currently in the work force? What kind of opportunities are there? Thanks for any input!

Good luck to you. I'm a 47 year old student myself.

Perhaps someone can help you. I have a friend that graduated with a Masters and is now a director of wound care clinics. I just noticed in one of the nursing zines a fellow student took a VP of nursing job. I'm thinking the job opportunities are out there.
