Glad I found this

  1. Hello! I was looking for help on nursing diagnosis on the Postpartum patient when I ran into this site. I have to say, I am really glad I found this. I never knew in the years I've been on the internet, that there was a site like this. I'm so glad I found this site. ^^

I'm a 21 year old nursing student in South Texas. I acquired my CNA license my senior year in highschool and worked 6 months in a nursing home after that time. I took my pre-reqs at a local community college and got accepted into the ADN program here in my city. I am currently a level 2 student. I have about a year to go before I am a full fledged RN. I currently work as a CNA at the county hospital since May 2006 and that'll change to a PNT, Professional Nurse Trainee, in about a month. I'm excited about going into this world of nursing. It interests me. I feel anxiety about starting a job as a RN and for this site to have such great tips on starting out relieves that anxiety for me.

My goal in life with my nursing career is to eventually acquire my MSN and teach at a local nursing ADN program. I still have more than 40 years ahead of me that I will spend in this field.

Aside from nursing, I enjoy sewing, costume-making, videogames, and japanese anime.

Greetings to all. I plan on spending and browsing these forums for a very long time, so I'll be here.
