Diane in the Isle of Man. UK

  1. :chuckle

    Hi everyone.
This is the first time I've been on the site so I'll briefly
    introduce myself.
I've been a qualified RN for nearly 13 years.
I'm orginally from near Birmingham UK. I've worked in the middle east and now
I'm living and working in the Isle of Man.
I've worked in A&E for years and now I'm working in a nurse practitioner role in
a minor injury unit ( also minor illnesses).
My pay well, lets just say the unions are helping to elevate our pay from
    whitley grade F to G.
I'm 33 and getting married in August.

I started my BSc Nurse Practitioner course 6 months ago and I'm thinking of
leaving the UK for warmer climates, better quality of life and MORE PAY!!

If there is anyone out there who can tell me about the US and there rates of pay etc.
I would be interested in becoming Family Nurse Practitoner ( I think thats it!)
and I've been reading that Florida's wages are quite low compared to other areas of the US.
Can anyone give me more advice?
Also do you think doctors would be interested in becoming my facilitator, until I finish my degree??

    Any advise would be appreciated.
