    Welcome to the site! Hard to speculate about which program you should choose without knowing some specifics. In a lot of places, both LPN and RN programs are extremely competitive, so it's not uncommon for people to apply to both.

    you can also do bridge programs LPN to RN RN to BSN etc always an option

    Good luck to you. If you don't need to work as a nurse right away. Go the RN. The RN has more job opportunities at a much higher starting salary (more than $5.00/hr in most places).

    However, going LPN first is not necessarily a bad idea. Especially if the waiting lists, or pre-reqs for RN will take longer.
