When you get settled in the US, probably the easiest way to get CNA certification in Texas would be to take a class. In general the class lasts between 6-8 weeks. I think it would take a lot loonger to try to transfer your CNA training from the Phillipines. Sometimes you can even get the class for free- IF you are willing to work for the organization offerring it for a certain amount of time.

Best Wishes and I hope you enjoy Texas

    Hi Katie,
Thanks for your reply, I was expecting it would be faster to take some course or test when I arrived in Houston but I do not know where to start. Is there an organization, school or company I can make contact with now or when I arrive so I can get going on my CNA as soon as possible. If you want to communicate with me directly,PM me.
