Anyone completing pre-reqs? New from Cali!

  1. Hi all. I am trying furiously to complete my pre-reqs so that I can apply for nursing program in August. Anyone else doing this? I am scared I might be taking on too much and setting myself up for failure.

Hi, I am 46 and a first semester nursing student. My advice to you is don't overload yourself, it will happen all in due time. I remember when I started my pre-reqs two years ago, I never could imagine being in the hospital but here I am! Take it easy, nurses are very needed and always will be!

hi! i am currently taking prereqs. my advice is to pace yourself, if you feel like you might be taking too much--slow it down a bit next quarter/semester. one or two terms won't make that much of a difference in the long run. i figure a lower stress level and great grades is better than too many classes and lower grades because of it.
