I'm a 52 year young female in MS who was finally able to realize her dream of becoming a nurse. After a false start some 28 years ago and a lengthy career in health insurance, I returned to school to become a LPN. I passed my boards in April 06 and have been enjoying a long vacation before embarking upon a job search. I have accepted a position at a long-term residential treatment center for varius addictions. It's exciting to look forward to growing as an LPN and hopefully to bridge-over to my RN next year. It's truely NEVER too late to recognize your dreams! This site has been helpful during and after my nursing school days, giving me insight and empathy on many subjects.
Keep up the great work! :wink2:
