Intro to Gen. Chem. in 8 weeks?

Was intro to General Chemistry hard for you? Has anyone tooken it in an 8 week semester? Does anyone know how I can prepare?

Gen chem is relatively easy, especially if you only have to take the first class (my school, and most schools, broke it down into Principles of General Chemistry I, II, and III). The first class (at my school, anyway) was basically bonding (mainly ionic), VSPER, electron configuration, nuclear chem/radioactivity, quantum theory, periodic trends and properties, states of matter, and intermolecular forces. Nothing too bad; none of it really went in depth. It was basically like a refresher from high school in my opinion. My class was a 10 week class, but 8 weeks shouldn't be bad either.
