Interview for sub/contract school nurse

  I have been asked to interview next week for a sub/contract school nurse. Any tips/suggestions for questions/answers to ask or likely topics that could be brought up?

I don't have peds specific experience, but that is made clear in my resume and cover letter. I do have acute care and several years of medical review/case management experience.

How many students w diabetes, asthma, Epipens? What are the medication rules in your state? Are you familiar with the use of an epipen? Can you have an orientation? (and it should be paid!) so you have an idea of the layout and flow. Good luck!

I interviewed and was hired today! They do provide paid orientation and then also shadowing/training.
