Interview at NYU Hospital for Joint Disease

Hi everyone! I am a new grad and got an interview at NYU hospital for joint disease. Has anyone interviewed there before? I would really like to find out about the pharm test and the rest of the interview- what kind of questions did they ask?

Also, if anyone does work there can you tell me about 9 south neuro rehab?

Hi I actually have an interview on Wednesday for the same unit! Hopefully they can hire more than one of us:) As for the pharm test, it's nothing to be nervous about. I think it is 50 questions or so and its all multiple choice.

How did yours go?! :) From my understanding, there are more than 1 position available. What did you gather?

i think it went well! hope yours did also! i forgot to ask them when they would get back to us- did u hear anything yet or know when they are gonna let us know?

I think mine went well too! The NM was very nice and informative. I just had to fill out a more detailed application.. did you have to do that? I had the understanding that we may find out next week!

Very exciting to see new-ish grads getting interviews. I'm planning on going to NYU in the Spring (assuming I get in) and am scared about the job market already.

Any updates? What color uniform do Rn wear over there ???

Hey! Yes I got the job! It's a part-time position so I was lucky enough to find a full-time position as well. I am trying to figure out if the schedules will conflict ;/. The color uniform depends on the floor I think but the floor I was hired on its all white :)

congratulations that you got a job in a place that you wanted! I have my test at NYU soon and would want to ask how is it, how many questions, any calculations and which drugs they asked. Thanks!

The pharm? It's not too bad it's a mix of dosage calc

And basic drugs like

Insulin and corticosteroids..

Hi Jessa951,

I just came across your post. I'm interviewing on Monday for a part time position and sort of getting nervous about the pharm exam. in the email i was sent, it has a ton of drugs and says to know the therapeutic level of each route of the drug…are there many of those on the exam? Also, can you let me know what types of questions they ask?? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm feeling very overwhelmed right about now.
