International Placement (MH Nursing - Canada)

Hi all

I would like to ask for your thoughts and maybe some advice regarding my application for an international clinical placement next year.

Found out that I will have to officially apply for it and obviously need to validate my reasons for wanting to do it.

Well, my main reason is that I personally think it would be a great chance to experience how nurses practise in other countries, under different legislations, but mainly sharing a similiar Code of Conduct.

I would love to apply to go to Canada, as hubby and I have been considering immigrating there one fine day (other half is a civil engineer).

Is there somebody here who might be able to give me some more insight regarding the differences and similiarities between UK and Canadian mental health nursing?
