there are plenty of threads on here about the retrogression, basically visas are running out and unfortunately you are going to be affected and will probably have to go back to the phillipines until visas get sorted out which probably won't be until next year

Did you test IN the Philippines? You might, indeed, need to wait for an actual mailing then. It would take a few weeks, I'd imagine. Quick results from a Pearson testing site (in which the site is located in a State that participates in the Quick Results program) would allow you to look online at pearsonvue.com and find it. Individual State boards have websites to check as well, whether or not they participate in QR. Some post in a day, others weeks.

I think Suzanne might know this better, though, since it's an international thing.

hi! i took the test in hongkong...under Saipan Bon which accdg to my petitioner the license can be converted in florida...Saipan bon got no website...I guess, i just have to wait for the result...my anxiety is leveling up day by day...:nurse: thank you so much, ill check the pearsonvue website then...

There is no NCLEX testing center in the Philippines.

If the poster took the exam for California, then they are going to need to wait about one month for results to come via the mail. CA will not issue a license until the nurse produces a SSN#. Therefore all they get is a letter stating that they passed the exam, and have three years to give a SSN# to the BRN. They do not have a license in the US until a number is assigned.

hi suzanne! yap , no testing center here in the philippines...how we wish theres one. NCLEX is very expensive in our part, aside from the testing fee, we get to pay for our trip in HK too...thanx so much for the info...you are in deed an angel to all of us...pray for me guyzzzz! :wink2:

your welcome but there is still a possibility on you being affected as you need approval and filing with NVC But wish you all the best
