I hope someone can help me. I know my R.M.N. is not recognised in the States. So, I've decided to take the plungeand train in the US if possible. Somewhere on this board was a nurse who has been awarded scholarship by a hospital to undertake her training and has also offered her a job at the end of her training. I'm getting lost around the discussion board and can't even get acces to the chat rooms. It has taken me nearly a month to find out that my R.M.N. isn't recognised in the States, so I hope someone in here can help me before I need psychiatric help myself.:uhoh3: I qualified in 1989. Have an advanced diploma in nursing. As well as 15 years experience as a qualified nurse, nealry 20 as nurse.

I am not 100% sure but there might be a possability of undertaking just the training you need in other areas to upgrade your RMN to RGN. Suzanne4 offer excellent advise. I saw your question on the UK forum and you can send PM to whoever you want to talk to by clicking on their name.

Hope this helps
