New nursing student needing advice

  1. Hello

I live in Ontario, Canada. I was admitted to a BSN program in a university in Ontario. However, i am considering possibly moving to the United States because i would love to love in a warmer climate. So, i am considering studying nursing in the United States.

I was wondering if people may have advice to offer regarding my situation.
I am not 100% sure if i would want to live in the United States permanently. I would love to keep the option of staying in Canada open.

Would it be easier for someone who completed a BSN in United States to get a job in Canada or for someone who completed a BSN in Canada to get a visa to work in the United States?

Thank you very much for reading and for your feedback.

    Have a great day.

I know at least one Canadian who went to school in Canada and works in I can say that's possible. I wouldn't know the details involved, though.

It's fairly easy to get your credentials evaluated. I didn't have any problems with my foreign BSN degree getting recognized as equivalent to an American degree. The degree evaluation was required before I could take the NCLEX and get my license, and the license was required to apply for an employment-based visa.
