    Welcome to Allnurses.

The International Forum should be able to help you. There is a Canadian nurses board there. https://allnurses.com/forums/f75/

The LPN program in Toronto is the same length as the Associate RN program in the US, and even longer. It is not a one year program that you are used to.

You need to speak to Canada immigration as far as the visa........most times it will require a job, or significant amount of money in the bank.

Or a student visa, but they also have waiting lists, just like the US.
