Okay - I will confess I am not an avid follower of Cricket except to realise that Australia is going to walk all over everyone else this year.

Just thought I would see what everyone thought!

Oh No! Jnnette! Cricket is a fascinating game full of phrases like "in the slips" "leg before wicket" "the ashes" and of course "bowling a maiden over"

Now I have you all confused:lol2:

BTW Congrats to Bangladesh - you played very well against Australia - certainly better than was predicted - good game!

Cricket!!!!

What a game!!!!

...... but am with you clm18.........I think adam Gilchrist is real good, And something Vettori of the black caps.

Daniel Vettori

Watch the record for the fastest ever test match fall in the next clash between the extremes of international cricket teams.

Australia vs Bangladesh...

Time for the mercy rule in cricket?

Zoomed down the highway from my neighbours house.

New Zealand VS Australia. Last checked score - New Zealand batting, 115-5. Should be an exciting cricket season as always. BBQ with the family watching the famous test cricket only days after Christmas. :D

watching the boxing day test is an australian christmas holiday ritual! an INSTITUTION!!

sitting back in your togs and towel with the fans going - because ya know how hot it is, esp here in qld.. flicking the tv between the test and the start of the sydney to hobart..

hot and humid.. probably a bit cloudy.. a nice cold stubby in hand.. not eating much because it was christmas the day before and you consumed far too many prawns, but still shoving that christmas-ham sandwich into your mouth..

aah.. i am looking forward to it now :)

I still haven't figure it out. When I lived in Brazil several of us played baseball in a park where some Brits usually played cricket. Lots of good natured yelling back and forth about how to properly throw a ball. Neither group ever tried the other game out, though - a shame.

But, I love to listen to the BBC, here in Texas, when they talk about the scores! You can't imagine how funny it sounds to our untrained ears.

Is it true that the reason for cricket is to teach you about the afterlife? They say watching a cricket match helps you understand eternity! (just joking, y'all!)

Was aussie crashed in mumbai?

Don't remind me. I'm going to b e spending a fortune on video hire. I'm not a cricket fan.

No mate but I do believe that no-one not brought up with Cricket can understand it - once you do though you will find it a very enjoyable game - I am not an addict but I do like to watch every so often - especially when those big beautiful men are on the field - I had such a thing for the West Indies team when they were on top form.........

I love watching one dayers ar the MCG in mid January. I don't know how much time i spend watching the cricket, compared to how much time I watching the crowd :) I think I like the night session the best. That and when the cricket is finished you all go out later that night.

Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi

GO AUSTRALIA, or VICTORIA, and then QLD!
